Ladera Ranch Curb Ramps: Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Upgrades - Phase I
Lane and Sidewalk Closures Needed
OC Public Works will be upgrading existing curb ramps at sidewalk locations in Ladera Ranch in order to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. These upgrades will require temporary closure of adjacent lanes and sidewalks in the areas described below during working hours.
WHAT
Crews will be:
• Removing existing curb ramps and constructing new curb ramps that are compliant with ADA standards
• Constructing new gutter sections adjacent to the curb ramps
Closures/Detours:
As crews complete upgrades to curb ramps, temporary lane and sidewalk closures will be required. View map for locations. Please observe all project signs and use alternate routes. Area motorists and other road users may experience delays when traveling through the project area during working hours. Traffic control measures, such as caution signs and flag personnel will be present for your safety.
WHEN
Anticipated Construction Duration: January 19th - March 2026
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The construction schedule is tentative and subject to change due to weather and other factors.
