PROJECT SUMMARY
OC Public Works contractors will be installing new fiber optic communication cables and equipment along Chiquita Canyon Drive in Rancho Mission Viejo. While crews work along the side of the roadway, there may be times when intermittent sidewalk and lane closures may be needed.

WHAT
Project activities will include installing underground fiber optic communication cables and related equipment along the roadway edge of Chiquita Canyon Drive.
This underground communications equipment will enhance capabilities of OC Public Works’ Traffic Management Center, which helps us remotely monitor roadway and traffic conditions at key road and intersection locations.
Please note: Intermittent sidewalk and lane closures along Chiquita Canyon Drive may be needed to accommodate project activities.
