PROPOSAL: Tentative Parcel Map 2016-108 – a proposal to subdivide property at 7820 Bolsa Avenue into four parcels: two lettered parcels to be dedicated to the County for added Bolsa Avenue right-of-way and not to be legal building sites, Parcel A at 3010 square feet and Parcel B at 6904 square feet in size; and two numbered parcels, Parcel 1 at 1.83 acres, with existing structures to be retained, and Parcel 2 at 3.59 acres, to accommodate new residential development.

January 5, 2017  NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORSNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Orange County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing at the Board of Supervisors Hearing Room, 10 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California at their regular meeting at 9:30 a.m. on February 28, 2017.

The public hearing shall be for the purpose of considering the adoption of the proposed Complementary Paratransit Plan.

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 requires that public entities that operate fixed-route transportation services also provide complementary paratransit services for individuals whose disabilities make them unable to use the fixed route. In addition, the regulations require that those public entities subject to the complementary paratransit requirements develop and administer a process for determining if individuals who request service meet the regulatory requirements for eligibility. Finally, those entities are required to prepare and adopt an ADA Complementary Paratransit Plan to document its compliance with these and other paratransit regulatory provisions

This plan is prepared by the County of Orange for unincorporated County area the southeast area of the County which will be serviced through RanchRide through Rancho TMA [a Transportation Management Association] (”County”).

A copy of the proposed Complementary Paratransit Plan is attached PDF hereon, at the Hearing location above and at the front counter of Orange County Public Works, 300 N Flower Street, Santa Ana, California.

PROPOSAL: The Cielo Vista Project proposes to develop a maximum of 112 single-family homes and associated infrastructure within two Planning Areas on 47.7 acres of the 84.0-acre project site (Planning Application PA100004). Planning Area 1 located on the southern portion of the site proposes 95 residences on 41.3 gross acres. Planning Area 2 located on the northern portion of the site and proposes the remaining 17 residences on 6.4 acres. The project as proposed would require a General Plan Amendment from “5” Open Space to “1B” Suburban Residential on 6.4 acres, a Zone Change from “A1” General Agricultural and “A1(O)” General Agricultural with Oil Production Overlay to “R1” Single Family Residence on 45.9 acres and “R1(O)” Single Family Residence with Oil Production Overly on 1.8 acres, the adoption of the Cielo Vista Area Plan, and certification of Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) No. 615.
