Project Management Division |

The Project Management Division (PMD) is an "internal service provider" to other OC Public Works divisions. It is composed of three units: 1) Regulatory Permits, 2) Utilities, and 3) Project Management.
The Regulatory Unit provides environmental (CEQA/NEPA) and state and federal regulatory permitting. The permitting agencies we work with are Army Corps of Engineers, US Fish and Wildlife Service, California Dept of Fish and Game, California Regional Water Quality Control Boards-Region 8 and 9, and the California Coastal Commission.
The Utilities Unit provides full service utility coordination with over 100 utility companies including electric, gas water, and railroad companies.
The newly formed Project Management group will manage road and flood public works capital improvement projects from the project concept stage to construction completion. |
